Ms. Wang specializes in
international trade, cross-border dispute resolution (international commercial
arbitration), foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, and general
corporate matters.
Ms. Wang has over 20 years
of professional experience in China and is fully proficient in providing legal
services in both Chinese and English. She has advised and provided legal
services to numerous multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises, and
private companies across various industries, including energy, manufacturing,
technology, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, education and finance.
International commercial arbitration is one of her key areas of
expertise. While pursuing further legal studies in the United States, she
trained under leading U.S. arbitrators and international commercial arbitration
(ICA) scholars. She has represented clients in arbitrations before International
Court of Arbitration of ICC, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration
Commission, Shanghai International Arbitration Center, Guangzhou Arbitration
Commission, as well as in an ad hoc arbitration in India, successfully securing
favorable awards for clients. She has assisted a Chinese investor in an
investment arbitration case against a European country before an ad hoc
tribunal.
Ms. Wang has also provided highly effective mediation services for
SHIAC. She also has extensive experience in negotiating with challenging
counterparties and is well-equipped to handle cross-cultural and business
conflicts.
Before joining Zhonglun W&D, she practiced law at major international
and Chinese law firms and worked for a state-owned energy enterprise.
Ms. Wang has been admitted to practice before the United States Court of
International Trade (CIT), enabling her to represent clients in litigation and
other proceedings before the Court.
