Mr. Li Yuming joined Zhonglun W&D in 2010 and is a Partner at the firm's Shanghai Office. Since commencing his practice, Mr. Li has focused on civil and commercial dispute resolution, corporate compliance, and private wealth management. Mr. Li has long advised domestic and international enterprises of scale as well as public figures, representing clients in numerous high-stakes litigation and arbitration matters involving substantial claim values and broad industry impact. In 2020, he was accredited by the Shanghai Bar Association as a Specialized Lawyer in three practice areas: Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, and Finance, Securities & Insurance.
Mr. Li serves as a guest lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University, East China Normal University, Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai Campus), and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. His scholarly works—including Damages Principles under the Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and A Study on the Seat of Arbitration in International Commercial Arbitration—have been published by Global Arbitration Review in The Guide to Damages in International Arbitration (7th Edition) and by the Shanghai Arbitration Association in Research on Arbitration Theory and Practice (Law Press China, February 2023), respectively. Mr. Li also co-authored International Trade, Investment and Engineering Legal Practice and Dispute Resolution under the Belt and Road Initiative (Law Press China, November 2020).
