Lawyer Lou Yaoxiong, graduated from Peking University Law School（SJD）, (New York) Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (LLM) and was appointed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as expert of the Drafting Group of the Telecommunications Law. Lou also had served as an arbitrator of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission for ten years. Lou serves as Chinese representative in United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Working Group IV (Electronic Commerce). Lou is the President of Beijing Communication Legal Research Association. Lou has published more than ten professional books such as "Telecommunications Law", "Jurisprudence" and "Restatement of American Telecommunications Law Cases".

Lou has passed the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE). He is currently a member of the New York City Bar Association and an arbitrator of the Asia-Pacific International Arbitration Center (APIAC), capable of independently hearing foreign-related dispute cases entirely in English throughout all procedures. Serving as permanent legal counsel to the China Association of Foreign-Invested Enterprises, Lou has rendered legal services to numerous foreign-invested enterprises and overseas corporations, with in-depth involvement in a wide range of foreign capital M&A transactions.

His major clients include telecom, media and high-tech enterprises such as China Unicom, China Telecom, China Broadnet, TravelSky, China-ASEAN, Range International, China Nuclear Media, China Electronic Port and China Transport Telecommunications & Information Group; he has been the permanent legal advisor for government entities including the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Finance, National Immigration Administration, Beijing Communications Administration Bureau.

Notably, Lou has been honored with the “Top 100 Highly Recommended Outstanding Partners in 2024”; identified by China Business Law Journal as a member of the exclusive A-List: The Visionaries of China’s legal profession in 2025.
